How MarcEdit Makes Use of OCLC's APIs to Hack Metadata Workflows

Libraries deal with metadata in many different formats and from a wide range of sources. There is no one-size-fits-all workflow. By utilizing OCLC’s APIs, users are able to decide how they want to work with their data and create their own workflows integrating a wide range of OCLC services and data that had previously been locked away in Connexion. This presentation will also take a quick look at how MarcEdit integrates OCLC’s services and will highlight the code developed to provide that integration.
