Using WorldCat Query Collections to Load Holdings into Third-Party Systems

This session will show how Lawrence Technological University Library uses the WorldCat query collections for ongoing updating of holdings in the statewide interloan system and for creating holdings for their link resolver product. By carefully constructing a search statement, it is possible to pull both MARC records and LDR holdings records for items your library owns and then formulate this for upload into another product, such as a union list of materials or a list of print periodical titles for a link resolver.
