In response to increasing Interlibrary Loan costs and librarian needs to better understand electronic journal use, one library created a statistical dashboard to see how often journal titles are requested through interlibrary loan at the university, college and department level, and provide detailed copyright costs. This presentation will demonstrate how libraries can use the WorldCat Search API to normalize journal titles. Wayne State University Libraries has also been investigating Artificial Intelligence and OCLC API’s to predict patron material use and provide automated support services.
